flat spots on acceleration...

I've noticed some pretty obvious flat spots on acceleration on my TDiSE. As this is my first experience of owning a diesel so I'm not sure if this is normal or not! I did a search on the forum and nothing significant came back so I'm guessing that maybe it's not common. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Is it anything a good service won't put right?

Hi Jon

I've not heard of anyone complaining about flat spots on the 75bhp TDi. It's possible one of the engine sensors is faulty but its really not something you can physically check without a diagnostic scan.
