Because the AC compressor is always running, (no clutch in A2), check if it has gas, and, importantly, oil in it, or the compressor will be damaged.Well, tried the flicking the setting to feet, face, screen business and low and behold it's working again. T
The groaning sound has gone as well.
There is no cooling, but I will investigate this once the other jobs are out the way. Also the radiator fan didn't spin when climate was on, but the engine was cold if this makes a difference?
Progress and also I must add totally normal for the A2 climate. The fan won't work because the pressure in the ac lines is too low. This may be recent leak or just over time not being regassed or oiled with pag oil.Well, tried the flicking the setting to feet, face, screen business and low and behold it's working again. T

Try flicking the fan around by hand to get it moving keeping fingers out of the way, the fan may be suffering from a similar fate as the HVAC so try it on each speed , a/c needs fan speed 1 to runWell, tried the flicking the setting to feet, face, screen business and low and behold it's working again.
