Front shocks

Don't forget the rubber seats the rear springs sit on, unless known to be good.

Andy
If you've not done them, a set of anti-roll bar bushes and the drop links. Febi-Bilstein do a good combination set of the whole lot in one bag that I just put onto my other half's car resulting in complete absence of road rattles.

Crikey .. I got my kit for just under 25 quid - the price has nearly doubled since late 2020.

I made the decision on the Bilstein b4 set up all round with b3 springs.
There are indeed 2 different model types.

This is what I’ve ordered (pic)
Have also ordered new bolts from tsp which are the bottom bolts and the 3 top for the front and the bottom bolts for the rear.
My question is, what else do I require to re-new the whole suspension system?
How did you order from TPS, do you not need to have trade account?

Our local TPS is open to purchases from the public (when I've needed to obtain specific fasteners that I've been unable to source online in particular) but we're up here in Scotland - I've seen posts here from folk down south that not all outposts are as amenable.

Yep our local TPS became funny few years back.

Are you also having issues finding fixings as a consequence? I've been pretty lucky finding various online places for the front and latterly rear suspension rebuilds - various online smaller VAG places (some have Ebay or Amazon shops, some are online direct). If so, let me know which bolts you are looking for and I will pass on my sources if I've managed to obtain them outwith TPS.

Guys, need help with any UK links to the front shock dust covers, as I have ordered the shocks, drop links and the top mounts. Ordered all separately but now can’t seem to get the little stuff apart from Autodoc who take approx 2 weeks plus postage, stealers want near enough £90! Thanks

Plenty of options on eBay. I bought this:

That kit is available from a UK seller on eBay at a sensible price:

The front shock absorber "two stops and two dust covers" kit that you linked to uses a one size fits all approach. The height of the stops shown in the link is about 90mm, which is more than the height of the standard ride height stops on the Audi A2.

You will lose 25mm of front suspension travel by using those 90mm stops, compared to using 65mm stops.

If you can't get a close match to the original Audi A2 stops, I suggest using VW Polo MK4 standard ride height stops. These are readily available and have a height of 65mm.

That’s more “spanner’s to the work” lol can I not just use the polo full kit?

Is this any good?

That kit is KYB 910084 and is being sold to replace 6N0412303A which is a 65mm height stop and 6Q0412301A which is a 56mm height stop, and a huge number of other stops.

The listing doesn't say how high the stop is that comes in the kit.

It is being sold to replace stops and bellows for a huge range of models from the following brands:
ALFA-ROMEO
AUDI
BMW
FIAT
LANCIA
NISSAN
SEAT
SKODA
TOYOTA
VW

Are these parts available from a VAG parts department? At least that way you would know what you are getting. However, the Topran parts that I've linked to below might be the same as OEM as they are only listed for those specific OEM part numbers.
