Fuel flap hi guys.

Hi guys. I have only had my a2 and now the fuel flap don't do anything. It opens manually from the boot but not with the button on the inside of drivers door.
What do I investigate first. Are the switches meant to light up.

If the switches on the door pillar don't light up, the status microswitch in the driver's door lock isn't detecting that the door is open. This is a job for someone with the electrical know-how, @timmus would be favourite next time he's down this way. Meanwhile, don't ever leave the keys in the car with the doors and windows shut. If the car doesn't think that a door has been opened within 30 seconds of being unlocked, it will lock again automatically and could lock you out.
