I didn't want to intrude on Stuarts Happy news, BUT..... after a very long struggle, the NHS which refused to fund my "last chance" chemotherapy, have finally agreed. I arrived home today after my Grand Tour of the West Country (see "Was it you"), to a letter saying they would fund it. This only days after telling me finally that they would not!!!
It has been a long uphill struggle, involving my MP, GP, Consultant Oncologist, a cancer charity, and me fighting all the way.
YOU GET NOTHING IN LIFE BY SITTING BACK AND WAITING, YOU HAVE TO GO AND GET IT!!!
Forgive me raising this on the A2 forum, but I know that some of you know of my condition, and it is good news I want to share.
