Head lamp Bulb

Had a bulb go in the NSF headlamp, so curious what the favourite / best option is for replacement?

I presume this is headlamp out job? (not looked yet)
 
Hi Shao_khan,

I have never been able to change the NSF headlamp bulb. I have easily changed bulbs on other cars, but there is just not enough room for my large hands on my A2. I did try for at least an hour, and I was just about able to get the bulb out, but all I managed to do was steam up the inside of the headlamp with my breath.

I now have a set of Torx head screwdrivers ready for when the next bulb goes.

It can be done, but it's easier by far if you take out the 2 bolts and just slide the headlamp forwards a little.

Well i've amnaged to do it (took the headlamp out). Actually it is the only job I have done on the car.

Strangly the headlamp now seems to shine more on the road, have I installed wrong or used the wrong bulb?

I actually managed it with headlamps in place - then had to take a headlamp out as one of the metal clips sprung out :(

EAsy enough though.
 
I still cant manage to get that cable out the back of the headlamp case. Someone will have to show me one day.
