We have just purchased our first A2!
It is a 54 plate 1.4 TDi SE in Mauritius Blue, has 80k on the clock and is all standard.
Our previous car was an A4 Avant 1.8T which we both loved but my wife insisted we needed a more frugal run about. I am heavily into the aircooled VW scene and have had the same 1500 bug since 91 and we also have a 1970 Wesfalia camper...oh and I have a T5 180ps highline Kombi for work....but enough of that...so we opted for an A2 as we both loved the charm and character and couldn't see ourselves in anything non VAG group.
We should pick it up on Tuesday or Wednesday this week and my wife is very excited.
I will post up pics as soon as its outside the house!
