I was hoping to buy a new hid conversion kit but I am not sure what colour looks good on my car. Any advice?

Don't go for anything more than 6k - you'll probably get a pull as the lights will be far too blue.
Also, get a kit from a reputable UK dealer - ballasts are still a weak point of the kits and if they go, it's a lot easier to get a new one from a UK dealer than from a Chinese Ebay seller!
