Highest original gadget/option A2

How many of you have REAR electric windows? I understand it was an optional extra.

I have in mine :)

The body kit was not an option at the point of ordering for the A2, always an afterthought, which is why I didn't include it in the list.

I'm not a lover of the kit anyway and really, it doesn't actually fit that well. Driveforward did an absolutely sterling job of fitting his, but still there are gaps everywhere. Not his fault, but the fault of the parts.

Agreed about the fitting, mine will eventually have to pay a visit to a good bodyshop to iron out all the gaps.. at the end of the day, the kit simply doesn't fit very well!

.. hmm. Mike, you have LEDs in the mirrors / doors / tailgate?
Ambient at the front and rear?
Lit doorhandles front and rear?
Lit doorpockets """"?
Lit Footwells?
DRLs?
CarPC?
Reverse Camera?

Leather dash? ;)

Spacefloor not fitting with sports seats? Hä? never heard that one before.

No, I don't have all of this, but either have had, or will have again soon (it's in pieces because of the audio upgrades...) or it's new.

The thread started off about ORIGINAL equipment, but, for the record:
LEDS in doors/mirrors - check
Ambient front and rear - check
Lit footwells - check
DRLs - check

Leather dash - erm, I wouldn't be as vulgar! What a waste of leather.

Cheers,

Mike

As I remember, the rear electric windows was only a £150 option. Retro fit involves two motors, two different rear door cards + switches and wiring. And it is one of the rarest options!

Agree totally. That's why my body kit is still sitting in the shed, I'm undecided as to fit them or not. I haven't even tried putting the kit on the car and can tell they don't fit very well. Ian certainly did an amazing job!

Our A2 is quite well spec'd

Only thing that is missing that I would really like is Xenons!!!!

Otherwise all my other requirements are filled See sig.

I think mine is pritty basic for the SE but yes would have loved xenons, but will have to do with bulb upgrade

Cheers Phil

Theres a Y reg 1.4SE for sale on Autotrader that has an impressive spec list, Bose, Sat Nav, Heated leather, Opensky, PDC, 4 elec windows, headlight washers etc, etc.Worth a look if you havent seen it already. Must have cost a bob or two when new. If only it was diesel and a bit younger!!:D

I also seem to remember there is a rumour about somebody once purchasing an A2 in the UK with every option from the list (although some were not compatable, such as Symphony and Sat Nav) and it costing £25K

Correct, see my previous post :p

Re Audi A2 original spec

Hi all
Quite a fun thread with loads of friendly? competition. I own An A2 1.4 Tdi Se that used to be Tauntons demonstrator.
The spec is as below
Open sky sunroof(non functional cable snapped), Grey leather interior with front sport seat option and rear bench, Electric windows x4, front fogs, winter pack, mud flaps, 6 cd shuttle, front stowage tray(added), 16" se alloys, luggage compartment rear boot, 4 spoke leather wheel, illuminated vanity mirrors.

Would like to retro fit the Sat nav system in the future.
But priorities now are sunroof and suspension change.
Price of optional electric rear windows as jan 2005 was £205 inc vat.
(have Jan 2005 price list for all options)
