how long does a 1.4 tdi last when its chipped?

my 1.4 tdi se 90 has just had turbo replaced at 82K.
mostly motorway miles and always main dealer serviced!!
am not too pleased with it at present.
 
Downgrade ?

I have just bought an A2 TDi (02) reg. As I got this from a trader who himself got it from an auction I don't have too much idea of the history but I suspect it has been mod'd in some way.

Is there any easy way to find out what has been done and in the case it has been mod'd to downgrade it back to what it should be ?

Have often thought about mpg myself. In my recent 206 I used to get 380 from £30 petrol.On my A2 1.4tdi, its about £22 to fill it up,and get about 280 miles from it, whats that per gallon then ??? Climate control is always on, and its mostly urban driving.
May be on the lookout for a double din cage for my A2 soon....any idea of price ? Mines at the stealership at the mo,annoying rattle behind the radio/climate control,should get it back tomorrow,will ask in there how much they are.
 
£22 to fill it up? i think i will drive to Durham from suffolk to fill it up!
