How Many of You Still drive an A2 part3

Hi, you can put me down for Dublin, Ireland. Also taking in Northern Ireland.

I just picked up my A2 last night and had to drive it 150 miles home. I am still smiling.

Have loads of questions so I am going to do some searches to see if I can answer them and if not, then I'll be calling on the wealth of expertise on here.

Interestingly, the car has an International A2 owners club sticker in the rear window. It must have been included in the price!
 
Welcome Smick. One of our members was/is from Ireland - Thomas. I believe he was German but his parter was Irish.
From memory, their car was red with red leather. This isn't the car you've brought is it?
 
Hi, I've had my black A2 1.4 for just over a month and am in Sheffield, South Yorks.

No, that isn't the one but I think I may have seen it for sale.

Go to www.carzone.ie and do a search for used A2s and it is the only red one there.

Too expensive for me though.
 
If things go to plan I shall be an ex A2 driver within the next two weeks getting a polo dune diamond black 1.4 petrol and it comes without a spare and you cant get a space saver for it grrrr going to have to rely on the old gunk method as with the A2. seems like this is the way forward and many new cars dont give a spare any more

see you have taken me off the list already still got the A2 but not for long if all goes to plan havent got a problem with that wooly A2
I shall still have a look at the site from time to time if thats all ok with the co-owners

Seriously, I'm interested in which of the overseas members showed real dedication and imported the vehicle into a country where Audi didn't sell A2s.

Cor blimey - another one for the Kent contingent.
I was going to suggest a convoy drive out of Kent on the way to Castle Coombe until I saw the limited number of us.
 
Rob, when you go to CC let me know your approx ETA at the junction of A12 and M25 and I'll look out for you. It may be a convoy of 2!

I'll be going along M20, M26, M25, so unfortunately the A12 doesn't feature.

But I promise, one day I'll drive around your area & try to spot your car so you can get your name on WOZITU. :)
