I know there's a lot of threads already on here about problems with indicators but I can't find the exact answer I want.

Having been a bit temperamental for a while, my indicators have finally given up on me. Having read previous threads, it seems it's because of the flasher unit and I have managed to get this out of the central pillar to look at it. If I manage to get the part, I take it it is easy enough to replace myself? A previous post by Dev describd how to replace the contacts but no one has described how to replace the whole part (8Z0 941 509B) so could someone please help me out?

If you've managed to get the unit out as you suggest in the post, then replacement is a doddle. Just nip down to the local dealers and get a new relay.
