I bought A2 climate control unit off eBay but wishing I read your post first!
I have following I would like to carry out.
Headlight switch and panel is faded away, so I would like to get it restored.
Do I pay for replacement first then I send my unit?
Also, I would like to get my original climate control unit refurbed as well just in case CANbus is looking for matching number.
What do you think?

Hi Atchi,
Thank you. It's quite a labour intesive service but the results are good.
Its normally a ten day turn around on refurbishment if you wish to send me yours. However I can send a refurbished set using a refundable deposit. The exchanged climate will initially show on a scan but has no effect on canbus at all.

If you tap on the members username it displays when they last logged in and can give you an indication why you’ve possibly not had a response so far.

In this case, James hasn’t logged into our pages since before Christmas:

I did see that so bought an A4 B5 climate unit to get the buttons from it.
I was after it for my friends car which is currently on its holidays at my house for some tlc.

The buttons aee fairly easy to swap.

Not sure about this one, but in my experience there are some that work perfectly and others that fit but the buttons get stuck when you press them in as if they are slightly too big, I’m sure someone with more expertise in this will be along to advise.
