Key not working...

Hello,

Yesterday I went to change the battery on my key and today I found that my remote central locking has stopped working??? I've had to resort to using my spare :-( Can someone help? Or do I have to take the thing to audi in order for it to work again???

Tells you how to reset it in the owners maunual mate, and somewhere in the forums if you do a search.
However, I tried both of these and could get neither to work, and had to get the dealer to do it.

PS....nice car btw :)

If the battery was not changed within 30 sec (I think) then the key looses its settings and needs to be re-matched.

Press any button on the remote control key
Using the key, lock and unlock the drivers door within 30 sec of pressing the remote
The key should be re-matched.
