I’d say that’s on the expensive side, but it is very low mileage. Depends on the condition and spec of the car really. What is a sensible price for something like this ?
Audi A2 - 1.4 SE 5dr FSH
Cherished Autos dealer listing for £6,999

Sensible is subjective. For me, around the £4k would be sensibleWhat is a sensible price for something like this ?

I have one too but a couple of week away at the most. It’s pine green with the twist interior. It on a x plate so no wear to the switches. Has around 10 months mot and recently been serviced pair work is really good. No dents or scratches it now has refurbished se wheels on. 115000 mikes. Sorry I can’t give you a price as i can’t make my mind up
I did, (pay a premium), about five years back. It was a good investment. The car seems expensive, but if you consider how rare cars of this quality and age are.
Personally I am happy to pay a premium for a good car.
Hi I hope this helps: I looked at Dealers for this sort of price, and I also looked at a 'bargain' from Facebook Marketplace as two different options. Because of what was for sale at the time, I ended up with my perfect spec of 1.4SE Petrol for £1000 from FB Mktplc. It had 66000 miles and was laid up for 3 years and needed recomissioning. I did this, with full services, cambelt etc etc etc. All new tyres, powder coated wheels etc etc etc. All done by businesses not by me, so I paid full labour prices too. Total cost is £5000. So, for £2k extra, you have a low mileage car but make sure it comes fully sorted for that money. The 1.4 petrols are the simplest and most reliable, and with that mileage will last and last. However, you're still running a 22 year old car, which will be higher maintenance, and things will still fail as age-related items. Electronics and rubber items especially. That said, I love mine, and I still think I made the right decision, and have completed 12000 miles last year in it fault free. £7k is still cheap motoring, but you won't resell at that price for a while, so cannot say its 'depreciation-free'. Knock £1000 off and you will have a great car. What is a sensible price for something like this ?

Hi Chris.I will have one available next week, just waiting for an MOT appointment on Tuesday. Silver SE, 107,000 miles, tidy and useable. There is a premium for very low mileage cars, I recommended a low mileage one for a friend three years ago, she still has it and it has been relatively trouble free and is probably worth 20% more than was paid at the time. The A2 is a car capable of high mileages, unless you want a real low mileage one, it's not much point.
