Low clutch pedal in cold weather??

I've noticed in these days of frosty mornings that the clutch only comes up a short way before the gear engages. Is this due to just the cold weather or something more? Very embarrassing at the lights when you keep stalling it.

This is a new one on me. I can't see the link between clutch travel and cold air temps (does it improve when the engine gets warm?) but I'll ask around for possible causes.

Just read an earlier thread talking about the same thing. It does improve as the engine gets warmer, I dont think its a major problem. Thanks for replying.
