Hi,

I have a 1.6 FSI Colour Storm, 2004 with 46k miles. Every so often the engine management light flashes and disappears. The gear change and clutch seem more stiff than usual. I had the vehicle serviced (national chain garage) a few months ago but nothing was amiss except that the brake pads were replaced.

I'd like an inspection at a respectable independent garage without paying the 4 ring dealership prices for peace of mind.

Can anyone recommend a good garage with A2 expertise in the Greater Manchester area please?

Skipton Autos in Mossley. He'll tackle most jobs on the A2, and you'll be hard pressed to find better expertise.
