They have still got a long way to go to beat Martin Dawes Communications - We were credit blacklisted over an unpaid bill!

The bill was paid monthly by direct debit so it was their fault for not collecting it!

They did not tell us, we found out when my wife had a credit card application turned down.

We never even got an apology from them. Now on PAYG with Orange.

Ian, strangely enough I had exactly the same problem with paying my community charge. It was direct debit, but not collected. I produced the proof from my bank that the DD had been properly
executed, they still threatened court action. I said I would be delighted to go, but they still took the whole year charge in one hit without any warning! London Borough of Havering! Their motto used to be "the people first" or words to that effect. After many complaints that has been dropped. A better motto would be what was always known as the soldiers farewell. You work it out.
I didn't get an apology either.
 
MMO2 are still at it. I have a yearly contract but they still send me monthly bills. It takes several hours on the phone at my expense to be told that "all is now in order", but it never is. No doubt next month there will be another bill, more phone calls, more apologies, no action... Oh dear!!!! They must surely be top of the list of apalling Customer services.
 
Sorry to hear your still having probs. I am finally (touch wood) free of their incompetence.
