Hi,
Just a few months after replacing the inlet manifold and several other bits, the CE light is back on. I'm getting the following code:
17863 - Exhaust Gas Temp Sensor 1 (G235): Implausible Signal
P1455 - 35-00 - -
17412 - Torque Difference Cylinder 1: Limit Value Exceeded
P1004 - 35-00 - -
I did a search and didn't find much. I remember shortly after we got the car, the light came on. The Audi dealer said it was a compression problem on one of the cylinders most likely caused by carbon build up. I stuck in a few bottles of Wynn's and it didn't trouble us until now (that's assuming it was the same problem). I think 17412 is a compression problem.
I've put in some engine treatment, but would appreciate if anyone has additional insights.
The 1.6 FSI is a cracking little engine when it's running well. However, our experience is that it's very temperamental.
Thanks,
