Just seen the news - cant believe we just lost all those classic bikes in a fire. Its really sad - I'm not sure what was saved, however I imagine we have just lost some of our heritage. Sad day.

I visited last year and have been meaning to take my dad ever since to revisit his youth.
Hopefully, the fire may have been contained to one hall as the report I heard was that some 400 bikes had been destroyed.

It is a very sad sight to see on the news. So much time and effort put in to preserve motorcycle heritage. Lets hope the Lottery fund stump up some cash to help rebuild the place-they damm well should.

Steve - 2002 1.4SE petrol, Silver, black/black interior, Then an identical replacement 2003 A2. Now a Toyota Corolla 1.6 T-Spirit

Unfortunately, I don't think it was run by Romanian Lesbian Dwarves so Lottery funding will probably be denied.

Agreed though. A very sad sight to see all the bikes in such a state.

Don't drink drive! Not only is it socially unaceptable, it also harms A2's.
Was a 1.4SE petrol. http://www.audi-a2.co.uk/uk14.htm http://www.audi-a2.co.uk/safety.htm
New A2 on order. Only a month to go now - Ebony Black, Red Leather, CC, Symphony + all the previous options we had.
