Hi all, new member, new car. Never had an A2 before (nearly have 3 or so times, but never quite got around to it).

My new chariot has some issues. Did I read that someone refurbishes wiper arms? I need one I think, I've got some deep scoring in my windscreen and the arm is all floppity.

Lots of other stuff to sort too - not least limp mode caused (I think) by the split intercooler. I'm hoping that's a relatively easy DIY job.

@Grumple had their intercooler fail recently. Probably would have good hints and tips on how to replace it.

I've contacted him and we're just establishing what type of arm I have. Once that's done I expect I'll be squaring the wee wagon away with a new wiper sharpish.
