Only a guess here but if your brake lights still work and it’s only the lights controlled by the light switch which are not working, and the fuses are ok it must be a failed light switch. Not heard of a light switch fail before. It’s worth checking the connect is still good behind the switch itself. It’s a weird one this and hopefully someone like @timmus will be able to diagnose over PM for you.
So exactly what IS working. Indicators, hazards, front fogs, rear fog, reversing lights, number plate lights, main beam, dash illumination, switch illumination, is the battery completely flat? Are all other electrics working correctly, locking, windows, blower, radio, wipers, does the engine run?
If you indicate left or right leave the switch like that and take the ignition key out are the corresponding parking lights working? Have you had any work done on the car, is the battery ok? Is the big plug connected to the back of the light switch?
Either the plug is off the back of the switch, the battery is dead or the switch is not earthed - too many separate power sources for the lights for all to be out.
Could we please have a clearly presented, definitive list of which exterior lights work, and which ones do not work. This would really help to narrow down the problem.
Exterior lights include indicators left & right, hazard lights, side lights, headlights, full-beam, rear lights, reversing lights, brake lights and rear fog light.
