Our Toledo 2.0TDi sounds as though the DMF is on its way out. Total cost to replace is around £950-£1000 albeit that includes changing the oil/filters in the DSG box at the same time. Bearing in mind the car is probably only worth around £2500 trade-in or private sale (£3000 on a very good day although it has fresh MOT and good history) I am wondering if it is worthwhile and whether to chop it in for some fresh wheels? Otherwise its a good car with all the bells and whistles you need and goes like the clappers.
