So, 1.4 petrol has been off the road for a year therefore, I was expecting trouble at the MOT and trouble we got.

After:
2 x Top mounts (precautionary)
2 x Front struts (Sachs as originals looked really, really rusty)
2 x Front lower arms (hence decided to change struts)
2 x Anti Roll bar links
2 x drive shaft boots
1 x track rod end
2 x rear brake pipes
2 x rear hand brake cables
2 x bulbs (presumably orange bulbs as I had checked them all)
2 x new front drums/brake pads (I supplied those)

and welding of exhaust in front of Cat

and now resplendent of new MOT.

Cost at the garage all in £1105.50

Well chuffed😄😄

So, now that wallet can take a breather…. I shall get all back end done next year along with front calliper/brake pipes and new exhaust. That should see it through till 2030 and the expected severe emissions tests.😳
