Anyone going to the DTM at the Nurburgring this year? the wife and i went last year in our TTS and had an excellent time so we are thinking of going again in our A2. It is on the 5th, 6th and 7th of August. There is an excellent campsite not far from Nurburg and there still should be some hotels still available. Some websites for you:

The only downside is that it is on the same weekend as AITP but you will have more fun at the Nurburgring.
