In another thread we got talking about old TV shows we remember. A couple that croped up were the Adevnture Game and Mr & Mrs.

Anyone want to mention some shows from a few years ago that we could remember?. There are some decent websites out there for old TV shows if any can recommend them.

Rentaghost! A kids one, but Timothy Claypole and Nadia Popov + the Meekers next door were fun to watch at times.

Hill Street Blues. Probably the finest cop show, no rubbish, humourous, clever writing, brilliant acting. I believe it was re-run on a sky channel recently, but it was after my bedtime.

Cop shows I remember were like Cagney and Lacey, Juliet Bravo, Starsky and Hutch. I was a bit too young for the Sweeney and never really watched Hill Street as my parents watched it (hence I wouldn't).

I kinda grew up on post-Roswell sci-fi shows so watching things like 'The Invaders' at 6pm on BBC2 when I was a kid was my thing.

There's plenty of other shows in this URL.

When we could not receive the BBC here in the Netherlands *(before 1977)I use to work in a holiday centre as an entertainer so my all time favorite was a show called [25]HI DI HI[25].
There was a lady in that show who was very funny I think her name was Sue Pollack or something like that.[35]

I remember some of the early stuff on Channel 4. An Alan Bleasdale one called 'Scully' sticks in my mind and it was about a Scouse bloke who was absolutely obsessed with Liverpool FC. I just remember the one scene where he was going on a date and he emptied almost a full tub of talcum powder down his trousers and everywhere he walked he puffed out little white clouds of talc. Struck me funny at the time...

Watch out, Beadles About (was it called that?).
The Krankees-they were weird!.
Still love Bullseye-reminds me of Sunday afternoon teatime and not having my homework done.
Metal Mickey on Saturday teatimes...and as for Dickie Davis....where did he get his hair styles from!.
Howards Way-dodgy acting.

And I will admit to tape recording every episdoe of the Professionals. On audio-not video!. Things you do when your a kid!.

Mal2002-how perverse were they really?. Come on!!!!.

I did see them on live TV recently so they are still doing the rounds. Thing is they didn't look a scrap different from when I was a kid!.
