OSF CV boot split

Are there any likely problems to be aware of when replacing a CV boot?

A search here (CV boot) has revealed no useful information on the matter so any advice would be appreciated.

I presume you mean the inner driveshaft boot?

If so, it's a job that is best left to a garage, or someone with a lift.

Hi Mike

It is the off-side front outer boot (at the wheel end).

I have done this job many times on my BX's and imagine the procedure is pretty much the same but just wanted to make sure before I start in case any special equipment or tools were required or, indeed, if there were any A2-specific pitfalls.

I'll hopefully be a bit wiser when I get my workshop manual.
