Ahh, specialist subject!
Going to the power steering pump you have:
Thick red wire (6mm sq) - power feed to pump
Thick brown wire (6mm) - earth feed to pump
Thin blue/black wire - power feed to control unit (from fuse 38, first junction or joint is in the base of the A pillar.
You also have a twisted pair of orange wires, these are the CAN wires that carry speed and turn rate info to the control unit.
Also in the loom, but going to other components are 3 wires going to the climate condensor G65 pressure sensor, 2 wires going to the ambient temperature sensor, 2 wires going to the washer fluid level sender and 2 wires going to the fog light, where fitted.
I had a recent problem with this loom, that turned out to be caused by a partial fire, caused by rubbing up near the bulkhead, so check the entire length and possibly even remove the dash.
Cheers,
Mike
