Pro Boost FSI remap

I’ve just received an FSI ECU via a courier today. There’s nothing on the package to indicate who has sent it, please can you get in touch to let me know who it belongs to? Thanks

Think ebay seller may have sent it directly to you after all as nothing at home when I arrived back from Edinburgh sat night, despite dhl notification that it'd been delivered!!

Was it a DHL delivery?
 
Yes, sure it must be, Ebay tracking says it was delivered to aberdar (missing an 'e'!!) 0847 hrs 4th March...

I know mate, you are second on the list, I have an ecu for you, it’s on its way to Germany on the 28th and will be back late spring early summer. I’m relying on a friend to bring them back so I have little control over when they will return.

Sorry to hear you’ve been unwell. Unfortunately not sorry, that ship(ment) has sailed.
 
Sorry to be so late on this but is this the ecu that ends in AF? Also is it possible to send you my ecu for this today or tommorow

Morning,

I'm quite sure the the unit you're referring to that ends in AF is the CCCU. The ECU resides below this AF module, it is withdrawn from it's carrier in an opening draw like fashion and not from the top like the CCCU.

It’s looking likely that @dmw300 won’t need his ECU as he hasn’t been on the forum since the end of March when he asked for the unit.

If there’s anyone out there who wishes to buy a Pro Boost unit I’m likely to have one available.

Evening Steve,

I’m viewing the Merlot FSI tomorrow and sure it would benefit having one of these ECUs.

Can I be in a reserve list please.

Just received my Proboost from Steve today.
Fitted in 5 minutes (just plug and play)
WOW 🤩
I have had my lower inlet manifold off and fitted a new actuator and cleaned all the flaps and erg valve.That was done about 3 months ago and the flaps have been working as they should but still the car was not running right.
The tick over was up and down a bit but not surging.
It would stutter at times in 2nd and 3rd gears between 2 and 3 thousand revs.
When accelerating in 2nd when it got to 3k revs it would take off as if a turbo had kicked in.
Had a good run this afternoon and what a difference.
Tick over is much smoother but does still flutter a little bit.
Acceleration is great through all the gears.
Has not surged or stuttered at all.
First impression WOW.
Filled up the tank and going to see if it has made any difference to the mpg.
