Hello:
My audi A2 have a problem. I think is a electric problem with de gearbox. A few minutes into driving the gear is locked in .I have to stop the car or put it in neutral and restart. then you are OK and I can go riding for a few km and the gearbox new locked. Can anybody help me???
 
Just had a TDi with air in the clutch hydraulics causing what I think is also your problem, get it looked at and get the air bled out of the system if neccessary.

I suspect that you are very low on hydraulic oil. Remove the bonnet and disconnect the electrical plug from the hydraulic control unit. Unscrew the accumulator from the hydraulic control unit by half a turn and remove the green cap from the hydraulic control unit reservoir. Top up the reservoir with Audi/VW power steering hydraulic oil so that the level is within the 'window' on the reservoir. Re-tighten the accumulator and you are finished. Almost anyway - find where the leak is and cure it, otherwise you will soon have the same problem.
