Hi all thanks to @homeoffraser I've finally found my new project A2 :)

She is a 1.6 FSI dolphin grey with 90k on the clock :)

I’m getting her next Saturday and I can’t wait :)

The issues I need to sort out

The water pump has failed/failing so I need to get that sorted out ASAP as it leaks coolant out

Then the MOT runs out on the 14th September (the day she gets delivered)

I also need to get the EML off what is probably going to cost around £500 minimum as it’s a FSI and they all love mechanics ?


When she is all mechanically sound the plans are

New concert radio

Replace climate control buttons

Replace light switch

Replace worn window switches

Full major service using Castrol oil and Mann
filters

Decontaminate the paint work. wash In
washing up liquid to strip any old wax and polish off etc then clay bar and polish and wax

Clean engine bay

I’m sure there is more but I forgot ?


The question is what should I call this one ?

Yes the paint work is good :)

I think the only noticeable mark is on the drivers rear door :)

I’m hoping I’m not going to have to spend a fortune on this one ?

Unfortunately if I wasn’t going to have her she was heading for the scrappy and I couldn’t do it I had to say I’ll have it :);)

I’m looking for a TDI in the next 5 months :)

I don’t know what colour though ???
 
I think you need to make an appointment Louis and explain ‘Doctor, doctor, I keep acquiring Audi A2’s.....can you help.....is there a cure?’
And if you get some answers it might also help a few others on here!

The thing is I don’t want help I’m happy as I am ? ? ?
