Hi all, thanks in advance for your time!
Well having spent just over £200 at the vass specialist to try and fix an abs problem only to be told it can be another £600 to chase out the problem I have decided to try and fix the sensors myself......basically can't afford to have a garage change each part at a cost of £200 per sensor.....
I therefore have bought a proscan v400 as I was told this would read the error codes and allow me to reset them......the problem is that the unit will not connect to the car!
Thinking it may be a blown fuse, I have checked all the fuses in the fuse box (below steering wheel) but all the fuses are fine!!!
So my question is whether there is another fuse somewhere on the car that might have blown and is preventing power getting to the proscan???
I really need to get the car fixed before the mot runs out and the beeping of the abs warning is really starting to get on my nerves, and now the engine management warning light is on and I want to know what is wrong with the car so I can replace the parts.........without having to spend another £30 for a garage to do a diagnostic!
Your help and guidance will be much appreciated!!
Levi.
