Afternoon all
My wife's car is in the main dealers at the moment for an MOT and it's failed due to a binding rear brake.
The girl on reception who phoned me has told me the investigation costs are to be about £80 and that i might need a new caliper.
Question is - how much should i be expecting to pay for this?
I've got to get the MOT today as the tax runs out on Sunday so in some ways, i feel as though i'm over a barrel - so i'm trying to be forewarned / forearmed!
Thanks in advance
Edited to add: It's a 1.6 FSi SE and the off-side
Edited to add again: I've been quoted £327.37 including VAT for the repair and replacement of the caliper and that includes £80 for the investigation of the job. Does this sound (and i'm straining to type this word) "reasonable"?
