Once you've had a remap done, the car wont revert back to its original map will it?

Just that I had my remap done in December and the car is now driving as it was pre-mapping it???? :S

Doesnt seem to pull past 3000rpm, which it did do back in december after mapping it

It could be a dirty-faulty air mass sensor.

I think that indicates a fault somewhere, possibly a boost leak, rather than the ECU losing its map settings.

Yes it is probably this.

I have had this problem on a couple of diesel cars and ended up have new AMS fitted. Symptoms are a big loss in power and not being able to go faster than about 70mph in top gear with your right foot buried to the floor.
