Remove Central console

I want to modify my a2 and need som guidance about removing this console.
Can someone tell me how to remove center console

If you are thinking about fitting anything double DIN forget it, you will need a complete new dash board, unlike other Audis these were amde either or and cannot be converted, see various posts on the forum, search 'double DIN'

The centre console is integral to the dashboard and cannot be removed separately. You can remove the vents, cupholders, radio, climate panel and stowage tray, but that's it - what remains will only come out with the rest of the dash.

Thanks for the pictures, the first three pictures is little to much=). but the fourth picture is exactly what i want to do. Is there a good points where i should start. to remove the vents, cupholders, radio, climate panel and stowage tray.

You should always start by removing the radio. This will allow you to access the 2 screws that hold in the vents/cupholders. Make sure the ashtray is open before pushing out the storage tray from the back and then when it is out, you can undo the screws that hold the ashtray in place.

Be careful of the wiring at the back of the ashtray and the hazard button.

And then I see whats can be done.
Is it possible to move the radio to the bottom?

Last pic shows the radio at the bottom. It is just not fully in because he was not ready with it, so you must round up the two corners at the bottom and it will fit in.

I did not do it but someone I know personaly and from our german forum.
