Replaced Headlight Units - Anything Salvageable?

I've just had to get the headlights replaced to get through the MOT, so having removed the bulbs from the old ones, is there anything else that is salvageable?

Akoya's levelling motor goes beserk if I adjust the headlights any further up and attempt to move the adjustment dial by the headlamp switch, not sure if the levelling motor and mechanism can be removed? Might be worth keeping.

Why not refurbish them as spare units unless they are physically damaged? The outside of the "glass" can be brought back very easily and cheaply using mothers Mag and Aluminium Polish. This stuff...

Side light tubes come out easily, levelling motors loom if not all cracked like mine
Clips, back covers fixing brackets in case other snap
