Replacing Alarm Ultrasonic disable button?

Hi I need to replace the button that disables the alarms ultrasonics (button next to the petrol flap release) as it is stuck. Is this button removed from the plastic panel it sits in in any special way?

I presume once removed its just a case of disconnecting it from the wire connection?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
 
Yes, it just pops out quite easily

There is nothing unusual about replacing it but you might be able to repair the switch if it is just a stuck button - try before you buy a new one.

Alarm disable switch

As a newby but logically minded person I have just replaced both door pillar switches. The have a small spring clip top and bottom. Levering them out from top and bottom worked for me. Then there was a small lever on the electrical connection to unplug from the switch.
As the haynes manual always used to say. Refitting is the reversal of removal!

PS. Both switches now operate what they should.
