retro fit of passenger airbag disable switch

Does anyone know if it is possible to retro fit the key switch that disables the passenger airbag. I have 2003 1.6 Fsi and could do with this so the nipper can sit ine front occasionally?

It certainly is on other Audis (A3s, A4s etc) and there is actually a retro fit kit available from dealers for this very purpose.

I've not come across one for the A2, but I'm sure that your dealer will be able to put you straight. Oh, and get them to do it for you too, don't attempt it yourself as you could quite easily set the bag off and do some BIG damage!.

Hi,

Just after I got my car I asked the question if it was possible? The answer came back yes but you will not like the price £300 pounds + from the Audi dealer, could try a VW dealer it may will be cheaper.
