Road Noise!!

Hi All,
I'm a new A2 owner having traded in a trustee Corsa, wow what a difference!

I am noticing quite a lot of road noise from the from righthand side. I initially though the wheel bearings where shot, but the noise is worse on some road surfaces than others which makes me think tyres? Its an SE on std 16" six spokes.

Has anyone got any clues??

Other than that great car!

Road noise

Drop links and anti-roll bar bushes are two likely candidates for one sided rattles / noises especially over uneven surfaces.
Recently had my o/s drop-link replaced due to noise and what a difference.

There have been lots of posts on these in the forums.

Hi,
Just to let you know that it was the wheel bearing that dun'it! Replaced last week and has made a world of difference!
