Service book question

On one of our A2's the previous owner had the cambelt and a service completed but the receipts state 'Service book not on vehicle'

Is it possible that the garage will stamp the book for me?

The cambelt was fitted at an Audi dealership

60k service was at a Marshall Motor Group


Would my local dealers do this for me or would i have to post my receipts and service book to the actual garage's that completed the work.
 
dealer who supplied my a2 said service book had already been sent off by him to be stamped up by the audi agent who had carried out servicing.

sure enough the book duly arrived correctly stamped around a week later.

when applying to the dealer i would only send copies of the receipts. not the originals (just in case)

Could be worth ringing the dealer and talking to the Service Dept so you have a contact name for the person who will get the book stamped. That way they will be expecting it and are more likely to handle it promptly
