spacesaver

Hi Doc was going to email you later,
What sort of alloy is this please??, wondered if it was a sport alloy??.
Or do you have a picture by any chance??.
At the end of the day if I cant find a spacesaver then I will just have to get the wife to pack less junk for the holiday(or maybe leave her at home:D ).

Hi guys,

A spacesaver is only ever to get you home; It is an alternative to leaving your car there, and calling recovery. If it does not rub, and is of a vaguely similar diameter, it is fine!....... Especially if you are not too lazy to put it on the back!

If it fits...... It will do!

If you want a "proper" spare, get a proper spare!...... NO size of spacesaver will do the job of a "real" wheel.!

Yup I think your right!!,
Met up with Paul today and bought an old sport rim off him, slight buckly but tyre fitter boys have reduced that a bit by strategically sticking on wheel weights when fitting the excellent part worn tyre I got for £30!!,
And it fits in the bottom of my boot so I'm well chuffed!!.
All I have to do now is find one of those spare wheel covers for it.
Thanks Paul and enjoyed the chat.:)
