Stereo Replacement

Has anybody replaced the standard head unit in their A2. Io have just bought one and want to swap my mp3 head unit from my old car the the A2 SE with climate control.

Any help would be great.

Linds, there are several threads on this topic - have a look around.

The swap is very easy, if you are going from single DIN to single DIN, just get ye down to Halfords and order the correct interface lead for your particular stereo, plus the fascia adapter (a genuine Audi one is available from your dealer for about £7).

I will have a look around the other posts. I hopefully pick up the car Friday, so need to pull my MP3 stereo out of my Yaris i am trading in before then. I will certainly post some pics as soon as I have the car :) I am looking forward to driving it this coming weekend.

Rest assured that if you can fit your head unit to a Yaris, you'll have no problems doing the same in an A2.

I've fitted a cd/mp3 in my other halfs Yaris and it was a nightmare in comparison to the A2.
