Strange noise when turning on electrics

Hey all

It's been a long time since I last posted been very busy with life lol, But Am back and need your help as the title says when I put the key in and turn on electrics theres a strange noise emanating from the passengers side behind the dash sounds like a fan bearings stuck,:confused: any help appreciated.

the blower's bearing gone? Try turning the fan speed from off to max and see if the noise is linked to that.
 
Hey Humps

Just checked with fan on full and fan off seems to make no difference theres still the same irritating sound. I forgot to mention that this sound is intermittent.
 
I can confirm this! Mine make a clicking sound after you switch the engine off, only for a half a minute, then they stop. I guess they are jammed up with fluff!! Not really an issue to me, just a minor irritation. Other than that the climate control seems to work fine.

will this malfunction come up with Vag-Com scan or will i have to dismantle the dash and find out which.:confused:
