Swapping fog lights in my A2's?

Hi,
I would like to put the fog lights from our ColourStorm A2 into my Akoya A2.

How hard is it to remove and refit the cables for these?

I thought the wires are part of the loom!

I think you will have to rewire!

Yes, you will have to completely re-wire the loom, unless you want simple aesthetic lights (non-working).

For MOT if they are fitted don't they have to work ?????

Or.... you could splice into the side light wiring and wire some DRL's in from that.

@ Grim: yes, they do have to work, but it's the easiest 'hide' ever, just put the old trim panels back on - the fogs are then invisible.

@ John: wouldn't recommend this as you will put too much current through the loom and could melt it!

Yes, i wouldn't mind fitting some DRL's..... Although they would have to look 'Audi Factory Fitted'

Looks like i may have to leave the fogs on the Blue A2 then.
