Has anyone seen the ridiculous prices that Symphony 2 head units go for on Ebay?

(Others have gone for anything between 50 - 120 squid)
I have S1 but would love a mark 2 with 6 disc head changer. The only issue I have is that the few that are on there would have usually been taken out of a A4 or A6. the centre console has a 'fluted' shape getting wider the further you go up so the face of the radio fits. I think with a lot of measuring, time, fine grit wet and dry paper, you could get there.[5]
Anyone out there changed a head unit? Or had problems with the connectors?
The reason I ask is Audi dealer was VERY unhelpful, didnt know what I was talking about and would not tell me if they would change over straight away. (without taking the car in for an 'examination' I cant be bothered and wouldnt give me a straight answer.) Rant over[30]
