Well, after a bunch of misdirected emails between myself and my dealer in London - and a subsequent effort to get the car insured with about 30 seconds notice - I finally took delivery of our A2 FSI on Saturday. [8D]
The journey back to Exeter just flew by and I was amazed at what a pleasure it was to drive and how it eat up the miles. No rattles or anything else to complain about. After a brief lunch stop in Salisbury I loaded up some CDs into the Symphony II multi-changer and - to put it bluntly - it sounds like it is using a cement mixer as a transducer rather than loudspeakers. Ughh . The problem, fortunately, doesn't exhibit itself with the radio or the tape deck.
So it's round to my local dealer at the weekend to get their thoughts and hopefully a replacement Symphony put on order...
Just a slight blot on what is otherwise a fantastic car.
