Td1 Engine

Hi A2 members,My wife and i are owners of a new A2 (now 6 months old).We are averaging 55 gal,air con on all the time,mainly town and b roads.I have just found out that the cc of the later tdis are 1390 cc not 1422.Did audi alter the bore or the stroke?and why?.

I'm almost certain the 3 cyl 1.4 tdi engine capacity has always been 1442cc. It's the 4 cyl 1.4 petrol engine which is 1390cc
From the recent posts regarding A2 registration data it appears that many dealers and even the DVLA are confused.
If you know different then please let us know
