Audi just has the strongest one around but please guys see it for what it is: Audi is just again a tiny bit ahead of everyone. The vertical grille is here to stay so get used to it.

Read my lips Audi's latest grille does not suit the majority of the cars it is fitted to. It is a chromium plated (ok polished alloy or stainless) abomination that has no place on a 21st Century vehicle. It did not look that clever on the silver arrow racers.

Hopefully the pedestrian safety lobby will kill it off.

ALL of the other examples displayed are more effective and less of a 'stuck on afterthought' than the excresence on the four ringed marque!

PS the Golf one is quite reasonable. Maybe thats my next car 'cos it wont be an Audi.
My GTV grille was smallish and quite understated, then the 156 abomination appeared......................................

Yes Audi makes their grille a bit prominent with all that chrome... but still it will grow on us the more we get used to the toned down vertical grilles...
