That's good to know.On sports wheels, the previous owner had 45s on, and it damaged the wheel liner on the rear

Morning all,
Has anyone tried these on an A2 yet:

I know they’ll require 5x100 to 5x112 adapters which @greywolfhound uses without issues.
The brushed aluminium finish looks rather nice on these.
Can anyone see any issues fitting these (ET42) with 20mm (5x100 to 5x112) adapters.
Project OEM might be after a set. They weigh just over 6kg naked which is only some 400g heavier than Pepperpots so not too bad.
Let me know your thought please.
Kind regards,
Tom
Thanks Edwards,With a tyre they wouldn’t be far off a pepperpot, however adapters add weight

Similar to this I’d guess? Thanks Edwards,
I forgot about the additional weight for the adapters, that said I’d be fitting spacers to Project OEM to beef up the Pepperpots anyway so nothing lost from my personal plans.
Is anyone handy with photoshop who could ‘put these on’ Project OEM or @audifan ’s Votex Azure Blue A2.
Kind regards,
Tom

Thank you Edward,If you have a side view of the wheel I can do it in photoshop

Hoping these could fill out the arches a bit better than Pepperpots with spacers.

EDIT:
Just seen these mentioned by @Menno a few posts back.
Kind regards,
Tom
Yes menno has these on another set of his wheels ..he bought my first set for me ?...spacer/ adapters are alloy and do not weigh much at all .. Because obviously they’re near the centre of the wheel ..The weight to add on to wheel is negligible ..physics .Similar to this I’d guess?
The mass might not add much to the polar moment of inertia but it will still add the full mass to the unsprung weight.Yes menno has these on another set of his wheels ..he bought my first set for me ?...spacer/ adapters are alloy and do not weigh much at all .. I’m not qualified enough to argue that point but I would say tyre profile and width would add more to unsprung weight maybe ?..The mass might not add much to the polar moment of inertia but it will still add the full mass to the unsprung weight.
With spacers you use the same bolts as the spacers are supplied with their own high tensile bolt set to locate to the drum and hub .... and there were issues with getting the correct bolts, which is why I assume @Menno is performing surgery on his.

I'm a fan of those wheels on an A8 but don't particularly like the look on the A2. Also: just how durable is the finish vs. winter salt?
