We all want to be green or seen to be green. Most of us have cars though and these can never really be seen as green… Though personally I think one true green car is better than one supposedly green London bus. But then there are 50 people in said bus so it has to be greener in the grand scheme of things…
A new scheme has now been launched here to show drivers (or buyers) of new cars how green their vehicles are.

I’m glad to say that with the A2's C02 rating of 116g/km it is as green as Toyota’s petrol electric hybrid. But as many of the people commented on the BBC article linked above, electric energy as used in these A-type vehicles are not really green as the C02 emissions are just moved to the point where the electricity is generated. Ho-hum. Great thinking guys.
Diesel is also greener than petrol (see http://www.stealthtdi.com/Emissions.html) and the entire car is made of aluminium which is also greener and more recyclable than steel. So even though it goes very un-green and fast, is compascious and has seating for four and no compromises (like power sockets in the street!) it is as green as you get! I’m well chuffed with my A2 for making me GREEN!
